Internships

Early work experience and skill development are the building blocks of success. Part-time work as a youth means a better future. The County of Santa Clara Intern & Earn program is helping local youth attain work experience by offering paid internships.

Our cohort is available to eligible youths from the CalWORKs, CalFresh and Foster Care programs. Interns earn $18.75 per hour and work up to 30 hours per week, for eight weeks. Interns develop real-world work skills, learn responsibility, and can explore future career options. Interns are placed with partnering community-based organizations, local businesses, and various departments within Santa Clara County.
